Veritas Low-Angle Spokeshave
- Same low cutting angle of traditional spokeshaves (20° bevel) but substantially simplified cutting depth adjustment
- Powder-coated cast aluminum body with solid brass fittings
- Toe piece, rather than blade, adjusts to control depth of cut
- Toe piece has two orientations – one suited to convex and flat work and flipped 180° it is set for concave work
- 1/8" thick by 2-3/8" wide blade made of A2 tool steel
- Blade fixed by two machine screws with specially shaped heads that wedge it in position when knurled knobs are tightened
- Mouth opening controlled by moving blade either forward or backward
- Weighs just over 6 oz
