Use the "Forgot password?" link under the sign in button and enter the username associated with your account. We'll send you a temporary password that you can use to sign in. Once you have signed in, update your "Personal Information" under your "My Account" page to change your password.

If you have a customer number but have not registered on our website, please contact us with any changes you would like made to your information.

After you have signed in, view your "Order History" from your "My Account" page. You can also find a link to "Your Orders" on the footer of our website under the heading "Your Account". Your order history will be listed, along with the corresponding order dates.

Click on the order number to view its details, including the order content, shipping dates and tracking information.

As a registered user, you can create wish lists to save products for specific projects or to collect an assortment of things you like.

Add products through the “Add to Wish List” drop-down button on product pages or within your shopping cart.

You can manage your wish lists through your “My Account” page.

If you would like to cancel or change your order, please phone us as soon as possible. You can also email us and we will do our best to find your order before it leaves our warehouse.

Have your order number and customer information handy when contacting us so we may better help you.

Out-of-stock items can be back ordered and will be sent to you as soon as stock is received. You will be charged for the product only when it ships, and you will not be charged twice for shipping and handling.

Store pick-up orders are verified and processed during the store’s business hours. Once your order is ready, you will receive a store pick-up notification email. During business hours, you should receive this email within 2 hours of placing your order.

Please note: Some orders cannot be processed as prepaid and will require the cardholder to pay for the order at the time of pick up.

Store availability information is current, but may change as you shop. If you are travelling to one of our stores, please contact the store to confirm item availability. Items that are out of stock at our retail stores can be back ordered for pick-up only. "Expected In-Store Dates" are provided at the time of order placement. If a date is unavailable, we will contact you as soon as we have additional information.

Orders are subject to taxes based on the shipping destination. Please note, that taxes are applied to the order total, including shipping and handling charges. In all provinces, books are taxed at 5%.

Expedited shipping options, costs and delivery estimates are provided during the checkout process.

A tracking number, along with a direct link to track your shipment, will be sent in your shipping confirmation email.

Please note that orders scanned after 1:30pm (EST) are not shipped until the following business day. Orders scanned on Saturday or Sunday are not shipped until the next business day.

Guarantee

If, for any reason, you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, just return it to us within 3 months* either by courier, mail or at any of our stores. You can choose to exchange the item or receive a complete refund, including any standard ground shipping charges. We will also refund your return parcel post costs at the ground shipping rate..

* 30 days for Festool, Grex, Rikon, SawStop and Mirka products.

Returning an Item by Courier or Mail

If you would like to return the item(s) by courier or mail, please fill out the reverse side of your packing slip (or use the downloadable Return and Exchange form below) and include it with your return. Print a pre-paid mailing label using the links below, or contact Customer Service to have a label mailed to you. You can choose to return your package to us by UPS or by the postal service, whichever is more convenient for you.

If there are any issues accessing or printing the UPS or Canada Post pre-paid return label, you may choose to pay for the return ground postage and we will reimburse you once your return is processed.

If Canada Post is the only return shipping option available for your specific address, we will process your return once service resumes. Please contact our Customer Service team if you have questions on your return.

Our standard ground shipping charges are based on the dollar amount of the merchandise as listed below. Additional freight charges may apply to heavy or oversize items. These rates may not apply to areas that are not serviced by regular ground mail.

Our conventional and electronic gift cards are redeemable online, by phone, fax, mail or at any of our retail store locations in Canada.

If you have paper gift certificates that were purchased prior to October 2005, you can redeem it by mail order or at our retail stores in Canada. You are welcome to exchange the paper gift certificate for a conventional gift card if you wish to shop online. Please contact us for more information.

If you are moving or receiving duplicate catalogs, email us with this information and include your Lee Valley customer number (if applicable). For a change of address, please allow 3 to 4 weeks for mailing list changes.

Lee Valley recognizes that education is a powerful tool, which is why we proudly offer a 15% discount through our Education Discount Program. The Lee Valley education discount is offered to students enrolled in an accredited woodworking, horticultural, or culinary program, along with course instructors and educational institutions. Non-conventional woodworking schools may also qualify. If you are not certain of your eligibility for the Education Discount Program, please contact us at customerservice@leevalley.com.

The education discount applies to all* regularly priced woodworking, gardening, and kitchen tools and supplies and can only be applied to purchases made during the current school term.

Placing Your Order

There are two ways to place your Education Discount order – in person at a Lee Valley store, or online.

1. During the checkout process, in the Order Notes box, mention that it is an Education Discount order. This will place the order on hold so we can apply the discount before processing. 


2. After completing your order, fill out the Education Discount form below and enter the order number in the Order Information field before submitting. Our Customer Service team will review the form submission and reach out if we require any further information. 

Please note that your online order confirmation will not reflect the discounted total. We will apply the discount after reviewing your order and approving your submitted form. 

Proposition 65, the Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986, was initiated in California. Under this act, a list of chemicals that are known to the state of California to cause cancer, birth defects or other reproductive harm is published annually. This list contains more than 900 chemicals that can be found in consumer and industrial products or services, in addition to chemicals that are released into the environment.

As part of this California law, businesses are required to provide warnings for products that contain any listed chemical. As such, the following warning will be included with all orders shipped to the state of California:

Products most likely to require Proposition 65 warnings include brass items, garden hoses and components, finishing products, products with an electrical cord and items made of PVC. The state of California's advice regarding safe handling of most of these products is to wash your hands after handling.
